Panax Ginseng :

“Panax ginseng is a perennial that belongs to the genus Panax of the Araliaceae family. About ten species of ginseng are cultivated throughout the world, the best-known species are Panax ginseng C.A. Meyer, native to Northeast Asia, and Panax quinquefolium (American ginseng). The root of ginseng is renowned for its pharmaceutical properties but is also used as a classic food (vegetable).

The generic name “Panax” comes from the Greek words Pan, which means “everything”, and Akosqui means “remedy”. Panax (in French: panacea) therefore designates the universal remedy.

Ginseng is an essential basis of the Asian pharmacopoeia and its fame is proverbial in Asia.” (source: Wikipedia)

Panax Ginseng is well known and widely used in many parts of the world for its beneficial and energizing virtues.

We use a standardized 2% ginsenosides dry extract of Panax Ginseng CA Meyer’s root.

Each batch of raw material is analysed and its quality confirmed by a certificate issued by a European laboratory.

Vitamin B1 :

Thiamine is the first vitamin to be discovered. Deficiencies in this vitamin are not uncommon and should be borne in mind, as they can have serious consequences.

Vitamin B1, or thiamine, is a water-soluble vitamin that comes from food only.

Thiamine was the first isolated substance containing an amine function and essential for life, hence the term proposed by Funk in 1910: vitamin. Vitamins are organic substances, without their own energy value, necessary for the body and which humans cannot synthesize in sufficient quantities.

EFSA, after extensive studies, has granted the following health claims to thiamine (Vitamine B1):

  • Thiamine contributes to a normal energy metabolism.
  • Thiamine contributes to the normal functioning of the nervous system.
  • Thiamine contributes to normal psychological functions.
  • Thiamine contributes to normal heart function.
